オーストラリアワーホリビザ申請時の健康診断についてまとめ

そもそも受診を求められるひとのほうが圧倒的に少ないので、参考になる人は少ないとは思いますが、今回はワーホリビザ申請時の健康診断について書いていきます。
基本的に健康診断が必要とされるのは、
- 過去5年以内にオーストラリアをのぞく外国に3ヶ月以上滞在した場合
- オーストラリア滞在中３ヶ月以上語学学校などに通うよていの場合
です。
セカンドビザ申請時も提出が求められるかもですね。
たまに移民局の気まぐれ的に健康診断を求められることもあるとかないとか、ウワサを聞きましたが。
Which countries do not require immigration health examinations?
The countries below, which are lower risk in terms of TB, do not generally need to complete immigration health examinations for a temporary visa unless special significance applies:

The countries list above is based on the World Health Organization (WHO) data and is included in a legislative instrument signed by the Minister for Immigration and Border Protection.
Which countries do require immigration health examinations?
Countries which are not listed above require health examinations to be completed where indicated in the table above. This is because they are considered higher risk in terms of TB.
上に挙げられている国への渡航歴であれば、健康診断は必要ではないとなっています。 でも最近人気の語学留学先フィリピンは含まれていないので、フィリピンで3ヶ月以上勉強してからオーストラリアでワーホリと考えている人は、フィリピン渡航前に申請を済ましておきましょう。
ぼくはそれを知らなかったので、フィリピンから帰国後に健康診断を受診させられました。
じゃあ健康診断までの流れは？といいますと
ビザの申請手続きを進めていき申請費用の支払いも済ませると、その申請に関しての管理画面に遷移します。
その画面左側にrequirementだかなんだかそんな項目があるのでクリックすると、Health examinationが必要かどうかわかります。（今はもう画面を確認できないのであいまいな部分はすいません）
そこからポチポチ進んでいくと、Referral letterというのがでてくるので印刷しておきます。
こんなやつ
次に指定の病院での健康診断の予約をします。病院の一覧はこちらのリンクから確認できます。
受付してくれる病院はかなり少ないので時間に余裕をもって予約をしましょう。病院によっては2週間先まで予約がいっぱいということもありました。
必要なものは
- パスポート
- Referral letterのコピー
- お金
です。
金額は受診項目によりますが1万円から2万円の幅で収まります。
ファーストビザ申請時は、胸部X線：約１万円
セカンド申請時は、胸部X線＋身体測定：約２万円 でした。
あとは待つだけで数日後には移民局からの通知がメールで届きます。
ぼくが申請したときはネットにも全く情報がなくて、これでいいのか？と恐る恐る手続きをしましたが無事にビザ取得はできましたので、英語が多少読めればなんとかなると思います。頑張ってください！
